Features of needle roller bearing with flange, with inner ring:

Needle roller bearing with rings of carbon chromium(bearing) steel have low sectional height and very high load carrying capacity for their size. They may be used with or without inner ring, depending on the application.
Needle roller bearing with inner ring are used for arrangements where it is not possible, or not economic, to harden and grind the shaft. Bearing with inner ring only permit axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing within certain limits. If this is insufficient it is possible to use an extended inner ring instead of the standard inner ring.
